Delightful 19th century oil on tin of children playing in a stable. Interior scene of three young children trying on their father's riding boots and sitting on his saddle. In the background (upper left corner see photo) you can see the image of two horses. The children are beautifully painted with lots of expression and detail. The paint colors are rich with no loss. Certainly done by a talented artist, though unsigned. Housed in the original frame, the painting is either Dutch or Belgian in origin and dates to around 1870-1890. Painting is in excellent condition and measures 11" by 9.25". Frame measures 17" by 15.25" and is in good antique condition with some loss to leaf tips. A real CHARMER!!!!!
