Cloisonne Vase Japan Meiji Period 5 1/4"

Lovely 5 1/4" cloisonne vase made during the Meiji period (1867-1912). The body of the vase has intricate stylized motifs which reflect the Art Nouveau influence. The background is rich emerald green accented with white,black,blue,and metallic green. There are a few dings in the enamel and a small dent to the brass base(see photos) but displays very nicely. This piece would make a nice addition to an Oriental grouping of items (see photo) on a table or in a bookcase.
