Rare Henry Troemner Tole Tea Bin Mid 19th Century

A rare piece of toleware from the mid 19th century. A Chinoiserie tea bin with the original label "Henry Troemner, Maker, 710 Market St. Philadelphia,PA". The tea bin stands 18" high and has a bowed front and a flip lid. Wonderful Asian scene with floral borders and stenciled label "C. Imperial". My research found that only a few of these have surfaced at auction since 2000 and have sold for very high prices. The tea bin does have several dents and paint loss which is typical for these pieces (see photos) and only proves its authenticity. Dimensions are 18" high by 14" wide by 10" deep. A fabulous piece for the advanced collector.
