Antique Horse Head Cane/ Walking Stick Wood Bone

Late 19th century carved horse head cane/walking stick. Wonderfully hand carved horse head made from a burl wood and has glass eyes and well appointed ears. Below the head is a carved bone handle extention with a small chased brass collar. The shaft is malacca and ends with a metal ferrule. The cane measures 36" in length. Horse head handle is 2.5" wide by 2" high. Bone extention is 4.5" long. Fabulous piece for the cane collector or equestrian enthusiast.
