French Ruby Red Glass Enameled Casket/Box Dore Bronze Mounts

Elegant French ruby red glass casket/box with luscious enamel painting and dore bronze mounts. Exquisite handpainted floral sprays and gold enamel accents surround this rectangular glass box on all five sides. Bronze mounts feature a Greek key design and the classic French bow clasp. The box measures 5" long by 5" tall by 3.5" deep. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is one minor scratch on the upper right of the lid which is shown in the last photo. This is magnified in the photo and does not detract from the piece and is consistent with age. The bronze bow clasp has mellowed a bit from opening and closing over the years. These are mentioned for accuracy and are very minor. A wonderful piece to start or add to a collection.
