Pair Staffordshire Red and White King Charles Spaniels #2 Size
Beautiful pair of English Staffordshire King Charles spaniels c. 1850-1860. The spaniels have a red/russet and white coloring with lovely feathering and pink muzzles. The old gold collars and locks have black chains. This pair has a pleasing expression and are lovely together with the one on the left (male) being slightly taller than the one on the right (female). They are both marked with an impressed # 2 on the base and measure approximately 10.5" tall. Some age appropriate flaking to the red paint and some crazing gives them that nice antique patina which is only created through time. I guarantee these to be antique and NOT reproductions. In excellent antique condition.
