Nippon Moriage Gold Tea Set with Landscape Scene 15 pcs.
For the collector of tea sets and Nippon china, this is a truly beautiful set that includes the teapot, sugar, creamer, 3 cups and saucers, and 6 dessert plates. Gorgeous handpainted gold gilt and moriage gold beaded accent. Combination of handpainted grapes scenes alternating with intricate handpainted Japanese scenery. Teapot measures 7" tall; lidded sugar is 5" tall; creamer 3.75" tall; dessert 7.5" diameter; saucer 5.25" diameter; cup 2" tall. Very nice overall condition. Teapot has tiny fleabite on the end of the spout ( see photo). Creamer has hairline cracks on the base( see photo). No chips or cracks on the other pieces. Gold gilt in excellent condition.
