Antique Limoges Porcelain Plaque Crying Cherub

A most charming Limoges porcelain plaque in a fabulous gold gilt frame. The plaque depicts a cherub with his quiver and bow. He appears distraught which is captured so sweetly by the artist. It leaves you wondering what has happened to make him so sad. Skillfully painted with much expression by a talented artist. Plaque measures approximately 6" by 4". Reproduction museum quality frame measures 8.5" by 6.5". Marked on the back PP France for the Paroutard Freres Limoges Factory in La Seynie France (1903-1917) see photo.
