Mexican silverplated pitcher flanked by a handle in the form of a perched parrot. The large 6.5" parrot is inlaid with malachite stone, onyx eyes, and brass beak. The pitcher is silverplate over hand hammered copper. The mark of Los Ballesteros is stamped on the base. The pitcher including the parrot stands 10.75" tall. It is in excellent vintage condition dating to the middle of the 20th century. A wonderful conversation piece for the mid century or silver collector.
