Marble Relief Plaque 'The Calmady Children' after E.W. Wyon

A charming marble composite plaque housed in a beautiful ornate wood and gesso frame. The plaque showing two children is based on Sir Thomas Lawrence's 18th century painting "The Calmady Children'. The relief plaque is after a piece done by the famous sculptor E.W. Wyon (1811-1885). The aperture of the plaque is 6.75" diameter. The frame measures 12" square. On the back in the center of the plaque is a medallion in relief. I also have listed a companion piece also after a Wyon sculpture. They would be wonderful in a little girl's room or a French inspired room.
