Large Oval French Bronze Cherub Standing Vanity Mirror 22"
Fabulous French oval bronze cherub figured vanity mirror for the lady's boudoir. A luscious floral decorated frame surmounted by a cabochon crest with cascading floral tendrils. The scroll footed base is embellished with 5" cherubs standing to either side of the beveled mirror. The base is accented with more floral garlands and paw feet. Two smaller feet to the back hold the mirror in standing position. The entire piece measures 22" in height by 15.25" wide by 8" deep. The beveled mirror by itself measures 13.75" by 10.5". Wonderfully cast bronze with lovely patina. Substantial piece weighing approximately 11 pounds and 5 ounces. Dates to the early 20th century. In excellent condition with the mirror being flawless.
