Primitive Folk Art Oil Painting Country Scene Signed

A real charmer! A delightful folk art oil painting of a country scene with house, shed, chickens, and well. Nice landscape background. Oil on card with heavy applied paint in areas. Signed in lower right corner-- Waterman. Painting measures 10" by 8.25". Original frame measures 13" by 11". Painting in excellent condition. Frame has a couple of spots where the plaster has broken off but it gives it that old patina. This and another painting by this artist came from a nice Lexington ,KY estate. I believe it to be early to mid 20th century.
