Tin Litho Ohio Art Humpty Dumpty Sugar and Creamer Fern Bisel Peat
These two Ohio Art pieces are from the Humpty-Dumpty tin litho tea set from the 1930s. It was designed by Fern Bisel Peat, a illustrator mainly of children's items from that time. Humpty Dumpty is only pictured on the tray.
The sugar and creamer have a 2-1/8" diameter at the top and are 1-1/8" tall. They are red and white checked with blue flowers, handles, and interiors. The handles are riveted. They are both marked "Made in U.S.A. - Ohio Art Co. - U.S.A.".
As you can see from the photos, the sugar is in great condition. Just a couple of nicks. The creamer has more edge wear, but is still very nice. There is no rust on either piece.
