Celluloid 3-1/2" tall Popeye Jointed Toy Figure

This hollow celluloid Popeye figure was probably a carnival prize. Many times they were hung by a string on a pole. This figure is 3-1/2" tall x 1" wide x 1/2" deep. He has no marks, but was probably an unauthorized toy that was Made in Japan. He still has his pipe and his colors are still very bright!!

Popeye's elastic is worn. His limbs are loose. There is one hole in the top of his head where the string was probably attached at one time. He has no other cracks or dents.
