This miniature enamelware covered kettle was probably made to be a toy for a child to play with. It is a medium turquoise blue with white inside the pot. The entire piece with the lid is 2-3/4" tall. Without the lid the bottom measures 2-1/4" tall with a 3" diameter without the handles. The lid has a 3-1/8" diameter and is 7/8" tall with the top handle. The handles are applied strap handles. The lid is turquoise on both sides. The finish on this piece is still shiny.
This piece is in incredible condition for a toy. It has a factory flaw at the top of one side to the left of the handle. This can be seen at the left side of the pot in Picture 2 and the right side of the pot in Picture 3. It is an oval - like a drop of the enamel hit and dried that way. There are a couple of factory flaws on the edge of the lid - a bit of excess enamel. There are a couple of tiny chips at the edge of the base and the underside of 1 handle. The edge of the lid has a couple of nicks also. The handles appear to have lots of chips - they really are in great shape except for the one on the underside. This piece was played with.
