'Ye Olde Oaken Bucket' Milk Glass Candy Container with the Tin Lid & Bail
This milk glass candy container has a tin lid that states "Ye Olde Oaken Bucket". This lid is original as is the bail handle. The milk glass piece is in the shape of a wooden bucket. It has "tabs" on the top for the lid to fit around. The wood grain is molded into the glass. The bucket at the tabs without the handle is 2-1/4" tall. It has a 2-5/8" diameter. Some of the original paint is still present.
This bucket candy container has some straw marks that are usually present in early, cheap glass. There is a small hairline crack in the upper edge that goes down a bit. You can feel the crack on the upper edge, but not as it goes down from there. There is a small flake on the upper edge also.
