MCM Scandinavian Cast Aluminum Fish Plaques in the Original Box
This family of fish are from the Mid Century Modern time period. They are tied in the original box with thick elastic type thread. The fish are white with metallic gold detail. The Dad and baby fish have sequin eyes. The Mom has her eye closed. The box is 12" wide x 9" deep x 1" tall. It is metallic gold and white striped. Inside the box it states "Hand Cast Aluminum - Made by - Scandinavian Craftsmen." The large Dad fish is 7" wide x @ 6-3/4" tall. Mom is 6" wide x 4-1/2" tall. The baby is 3-1/2" wide x 3" tall. Each of the fish have a wire loop so they can be hung on the wall. These fish have not been removed from the box.
These fish are in nice condition. There are a couple of slight nicks to the paint just from sitting around all these years. The box shows wear.
