Easter Cotton Chick on Cardboard Candy Container

This candy container does not have it's country of origin marked on it. Most of the cotton chicks that I have had were made in the United States or Japan. This cotton chick is off white with a peach line down the side. It has "seed eyes" and a composition beak. It also has a felt comb at the top of it's head. The chick is sitting on a tube candy container. It has it's original plug. It is wrapped in paper that is orange and off white and is a print of "bricks". The entire piece measures 3-3/4" tall x 1-7/8" deep x 1-5/8" wide.

The cotton chick is a bit dirty. The pictures show that his back looks very dirty. This is just a shadow from taking the pictures. He is just a little dirty. The paper on the top is peeling up a bit. The brick paper at the top back was "touched up" with a colored pencil. This is a fun Easter piece dating back to c.1930.
