Ceramic Devil's Egg Dish with a Chicken Design

This devil's egg dish is from the Mid Century Modern time period. It has a 9-1/4" diameter and is 1" tall. It holds 1 dozen eggs. It is marked in a bell "E.R. American Art Ware". This stands for "Eberling and Reuss" and was distributed by Canonsburg Pottery. The chicken is red and black. It is sitting on a brown fence. There are 2 green and brown trees. This design is hand painted.

This egg plate is in nice condition. There are no chips or cracks. The chicken design is quite appropriate for this type of dish!!
