'The Earth Satellite Man's First True Space Adventure' Hard Back Book

This children's book was written by John Lewellen and Illustrated by Ida Scheib. It is a non-fiction book about putting the first satellite up in space. This book has a printed cover. It is 59 pages long. It is "Copyright symbol Wilma Lewellen, 1957 - published by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc." I believe it is a first edition.

This book is in used condition. There are a couple of scratches on the cover. On the first inside page "98" is hand written in the corner. This is probably the original price. The very last blank page has been torn out.
