Metro-Goldwyn Pictures Celluloid Pinback Button with a Train

We all know the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer lion that roars at the beginning of movies. This pinback button is from Metro-Goldwyn Pictures, before Mayer joined the team!! It is also before the lion symbol was used. Apparently they used this train engine first!! This button has a 1" diameter. It is 1/8" deep. The paper is still in the back and it states "M. Pudlim Co. - Mfrs. of Badges - Buttons and - Advertising Novelties - 3 W. 27th St. - N.Y.C.". This was probably a premium item or freebie from the company to help promote their services!!

This pinback was used. It has a couple of scratches. At approximately 7 o'clock it looks like there is a flaw in the ring. This button was made that way!!
