Purdue (University) Foundry Cast Iron Kewpie Doll Paperweight

I was told by a Purdue University alum that this piece was made in the foundry there as part of a class during the 1930s. I am not sure if this is true, but it sure makes sense.

This is a cast iron paperweight. It measures 2-3/4" long x 1-3/8" wide x 3/4" deep at the head. It is black. It states "Purdue" at the top - there is a Kewpie figure in the middle - and "Foundry" at the bottom. The iron is very smooth.

There is a very slight bit of oxidation. No other damage.
