Early 19th Century Young Woman Portrait on Ivory Miniature in Wooden Frame
Presented is a nice, antique portrait on ivory made during the early to mid 1800s. This piece is American or continental European in origin. The portrait is of a young woman with flowers in her hair. The portrait is housed in its original, wooden frame. The back has been sealed with wax instead of using pins, the wax can easily be removed if needed.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. The painting itself is undamaged, with no breaks and no repairs. The wooden frame has some minor wear to it but no major damages.
The frame measures 3 1/4 by 4 inches.
