3 Piece 1923 English Sterling Tortoise Shell Dresser Set Brushes and Mirror

Presented is a nice, 3 piece sterling silver and tortoise shell dresser set made in London in 1923. This is a wonderful, vintage set. Each piece is made of sterling silver and has a tortoise shell back inlaid with lines of sterling silver design.

This set includes: 1 Mirror: 10 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. 1 Hair Brush: 9 1/2 inches long. 1 Clothes Brush: 1 3/4 by 6 3/8 inches.

Each piece is marked with the leopard’s head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter h for the year 1923 and a maker’s mark C & A.

This set is in pretty good overall condition. The hairbrush is missing a line of silver inlay and has a crack across the back, running perpendicular to the lines of silver inlay. The mirror face is in fabulous condition. All three pieces have a few dings but there are no other cracks, no other chips and no repairs.
