HENRIOT QUIMPER c.1930 chicken egg cup: French faience

A charming piece of vintage Quimper for the the egg cup collector! The chicken-form eggcup or coddler is hand-painted in bright blue and yellow with scattered florals. Mark underneath reads: HENRIOT QUIMPER FRANCE 84. This mark covers the period 1922-68 and the feel of the egg cup suggests the earlier part of this period. Condition is very good vintage faience, with typical rubbing to edges and small pin pricks and glaze loss from time of manufacture. There are no cracks or hairlines. Bright, clean interior. Measures 2"H x 3.25"L x 1.75"W.
