Ornate, Square, Vintage Florentine Mirror

Rather unusual to see a Florentine mirror in such simple form even though the form itself is so highly decorated. This one is a nearly square but just long enough on the sides to make it a rectangle. The mirror works nicely in groupings of other mirrors, with pictures, or among plates. The edges of the mirror are formed with scroll work, but minimalized and angular rather than the deep curves on many Florentine frames. Size of this piece is 7" wide and 8" long, and 1" deep. Condition is excellent.
