Vintage Chest, White Furniture Company, Mebane N.C.
Small wood chest of drawers with circular-shaped carving on two, square lower drawers flanking a long center drawer, and Queen Anne style cabriole legs supporting the chest. The wood is maple-toned and has stripes in the veneer which is in good condition. In the center of the skirt at the base of the chest is a heart, cut out from the wood. Above the lower set of drawers, are four long drawers which span the width of the chest. The top is flat, no bonnet or broken pediment. The chest was produced in Mebane, N.C., by White Furniture Company, circa 1950. Hardware is brass.
