Retro Italian Pottery Vase, Pebbled Surface, Multi-Colored Floral Design
Wow! Color and more color. This retro Italian pottery vase is the embodiment of the transitional style middle years of the 1900s. The vase has an impressed "Italy" on the base as well as a number. Monumental in size, the vase stands an imposing 15". It has a bulbous base of 9" in diameter that narrows at the shoulder and then the neck rises to a flaring, flat rim of 4.5". On the pebbled surface of the vase are multi-colored flowers in bright oranges, pinks and yellows. Two predominant colors that ground the vase are black and yellow. All in all, a daring design, brazen color, and smashing retro effect.
