Fenton Glass Ewer in Palest Blue with Fluted Body, Ruffled Rim
Beautiful Fenton Glass ewer in a pale blue with notched, applied handle in clear blue. The ewer stands approx. 8.5" high at the top of the tallest ruffled edge of the rim. The base is wide and flat, pinches in, and rises in an elongated ovoid, fluted body to a pinched neck which is encircled by a ring of the clear blue glass and then flares out once again at the top. The vase dates from the 1940s and is in excellent condition. I will be listing another Fenton Glass ewer of the same design but in a peachy color.
