Val St. Lambert Clear Crystal Bowl
Sparkling clear crystal bowl by Val St. Lambert, the Belgian crystal maker to kings, with flaring sides, a flat base, and a plain rim. The glass is quite heavy and thick, weighing approx. 3 pounds. The diameter of the bowl is approx. 9.25" and the height is 3.25". The triangular design element is molded into the glass and surrounds the outer surface of the bowl. The point of each triangle soars toward the rim of the bowl and the base is anchored at the foot of the bowl. Because the triangles meet at the base of the bowl, they form a serrated bottom edge. The bowl has one very small little chipped place on the rim. Other than than, the bowl is in excellent condition. This is the kind of flaw that can be easily smoothed out and corrected by a glass repair person. Estimated age of this piece is 1970s.
