Fabulous Mottahedeh Green Parrot on Tree Trunk Perch, Italy
Bigger is better with Mottahedeh and this fabulous hand-painted bird is as good as it gets. A commanding 15.5" tall, this wonderful Italian ceramic designed by Mottahedeh, has the look designers love and colors to tie in any decor or table setting. Greens predominate but there are touches of rust, peach, yellow, and much white, as well. The tree trunk base allows the bird to tower over its surrounding. Diameter of the base is approx. 4.5". I have two of these great birds which I will be listing separately and colors are different so they are not a matched pair. The round hand-painted Mottahedeh is shown in the pictures along with the country of origin.
