Tiny pair of shoes for a Chinese woman whose feet had been bound as a girl. These dainty little slippers are framed in a shadow box with linen matting, and are displayed in a gold frame. The shoes are about 5" long and are hand sewn as can be seen on close examination. The silk fabric features gold embroidery and lots of little accents. The shoes are in excellent condition. The frame is 17.25" lng and 15.5" high. Purchased from an Atlanta estate about 3 years ago.
