George Jones Crescent China Cup and Saucer
Beautiful English cup and saucer by the firm of George Jones, Crescent China. Both pieces have jeweled slip beads of turquoise color surrounding the rim of the cup and the border of the plate.In addition, there are small swags of roses encircling the cup. There is a bit of discoloration in the base of the cup (too much strong tea stained the bottom but it is faint), and there is also some loss of gold on the rim and on the cup handle. Otherwise all the little slip beads are intact and there are no chips, cracks or other issues. It's a lovely cup and saucer and would make a beautiful decorative piece in your home.
