Wave Crest Box, C. F. Monroe, Connecticut, Opalescent Milk Glass
Beautiful turn-of-the-century dresser box in opalescent milk glass made by C.F. Monroe. This Wave Crest box with tiny applied flowers decorating the lid and sides of the box is in good condition with no chips or cracks or other condition issues. It has a goldtone metal frame on which the puffy lid and base fit and join in the middle. It is hinged in the back. At one time there was a fabric lining but it has been removed. The size of the box is approx. 5.5" in diameter and 3.5" high.
