The picturesque thatched home of Anne Hathaway before her marriage to Shakespeare is preserved as a national memorial by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and is rendered here in fine English bone china by Coalport. The charming collectible is approximately 7 and 5/8ths inches long and 3 and 3/4 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. It is decorated with a bright yellow roof, three stone chimneys, half-timbers in the plaster, and a flowering yard and garden. Tiny applied flowers and sprigs of porcelain embellish the lawn and sides of the house. Only minor imperfections and these would be hard to find without close scrutiny. Condition is very good.
