Super watercolor of horses, a track, a huge house or hotel in the right background, and a very stylized, 1950s look. The work is titled on the back, Morning Canter. This is frame is simple, light wood, frame and the information on the back explains that it is an original watercolor by Croy. There is a listed artist in Davenport's name Marie Therese Croy who worked in the 20th century and painted European subjects. This may be artist responsible for this work but further investigation needs to be done. The dimensions of the frame are 9" x 7" and the image size is 7.5 x 6.5". Condition is excellent. Well-protected all these years in this lovely frame.
