What a charming early American pressed glass plate of a little girl gathering flowers in the garden. She is surrounded by blooms on each side, and the borders of the plate feature small panels around the rim with interesting vignettes. One has a swan gliding on a pond and another shows a bird with her babies trailing her. The plate is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a bit of roughness around the foot rim and outside rim which is characteristic of this type of glass. It is clear, probably dates to the 1880s or so. Size of the plate is approx. 9" in diameter.
