Vintage Cluster of Hardstone Jade Bananas
Unusual hardstone fruits in the shape of bananas with two small bananas amid a cluster of leaves. The dimensions are 7" long and approx. 9" wide. The stone for the bananas is somewhat mottled giving it a very realistic appearance of the natural fruit. The usual find in this category of jade or hardstone fruits is a cluster of grapes, but this particular find yielded not only grapes, but also other fruits and vegetables, including cherries, a peach, and peas. Wonderful life-like rendition that will be beautiful in a group of hardstone fruits or can be used singly as an accent on a shelf or side table.
