Antique Sterling Silver Bracelet with Vintage Silver Fob Medallions

All things old are new again! Antique fobs, charms, & medallions are making a fashion comeback as chunky and fun bracelets and necklaces.

This antique silver charm bracelet features a heart shaped locket clasp and four interesting Irish and English fob medallions from different time periods (all fully hallmarked).

The 7 inch long charm bracelet appears to be late Victorian. It is marked silver on the heart clasp.

There are two shield medallions that were manufactured in Birmingham, England. One is all sterling silver with J.L. Gently etched on the reverse. It was manufactured in 1914; the other, made in 1897, features an open work ivy design surrounding a gold plated shield. The reverse also bears the maker's mark "W.J.D.". This is also sterling.

The other two charms are Irish. One is marked H&H Dublin and engraved A. Coffey Gymnastics 1923-1924. The front of this medallion features much Irish imagery including a shamrock, harp, and a gold plated scene depicting a large stone monument, dog, and Celtic cross. The other Irish fob is more modern, hailing from 1959. This sterling silver fob features a gold plated Irish harp surrounded by Celtic knots.
