Georges Briard designed these "Tisket-Tasket" handled bowls or ramekins in the 1960s . The ribbed mold is in a basket pattern with tassel handles. The color is a buttery yellow with creamy white interior. The stoneware bowls measure 5'' diameter by 2" high and 6 1/2'' including the handles.
Finding the set of eight makes a versatile addition to your home or collection. They are perfect for serving soups, cereals, or used holding nuts, or condiments.
The mark reads: "Signed and designed by Georges Briard" and these were most likely purchased at Bonwit Teller in Boston. They are in very good condition with only one bowl having some light staining inside.
