Staffordshire Figurine Spill & Quill Vase Peacock Bird with nest of Eggs
Peacock Staffordshire Figurine is a spill vase or quill vase. The peacock stands guard over her nest of eggs. They are on a raised mound with two bunches of shredded clay glazed orange. The peacock has a bright cobolt blue neck and orange and black feather.

There are two hollow columns, one with orange glaze inside to hold spills. The other one would hold quills. The height is 3 1/2". The base is highlighted with a gold line. There are no chips nor losses.
Made in 19th century England.
