The Flute or Loop patterns in Early American Pattern Glass show classical curved lines. The Seneca Loop pattern has deeply set curves or hairpin turns which reflect light beautifully.
Made of flint glass, this goblet has a bell-tone sound when lightly struck. The goblet measures 6 3/4" high x 3 3/8" dia. The Seneca Loop pattern was produced by McKee Glass in the late 1850s-60s.
The condition is very good, without chips or flakes or cracks. There is one straw mark or thread and the expected sign of wear on the foot. It weighs a solid 1 lb 5 ozs.
