Real Photo Postcards of Japanese Gardens, Hollywood, California

I decided to keep this pair of cards together, as they really show the immense size of the Japanese Mansion seen from a distance as well as close up. Although there is no stamp box on either card, the Japanese Gardens series dates to the late 1920's. The card with the photo from a distance (you have to wonder who might have lived in those houses below too) is simply "Japanese Gardens Hollywood Cal.," and the card with the close up is "Japanese Mansion Japanese Gardens Hollywood Calif" Both are in pristine unused condition, having been in an album almost since they were new. The album itself is a beautiful collectors item. The cards were held in place only by slots for the corners so there are no holes and no glue marks. Both cards are basically as clean and bright as the day they were new and there are no creases, tears, stains, no corner wear....nothing. These may be the best examples of these cards you will find for your collection.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
