Steuben Crystal Tricorn Console Bowl Large Size
From a 3 1/2 inch polished foot this 12 inch tricorn console bowl rises to a maximum height of 4 1/4 inches. The diamond point needle Steuben signature is located at the edge of the polished flat base (see photo). There are some very light scratches directly on the flat inside bottom of the bowl, but none up the sides. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs and the glass is crystal clear all around, inside and out. This is a large and interesting piece of work, a bit different from every angle. The rim is not "even" but rises and falls gently as you go around it, like a wave. The photo of the bowl upside down best shows what I mean. As near as I can date this piece is the mid 1950's, based on similar Steuben tri corn bowls of smaller sizes.
