MWM Color Litho Comic Post Card Scotty and His Mutt Pal

MWM of Aurora, Missouri published this humor post card using their Color-Litho "Bursheen" Finished method. The postmark is dated Oct. 8, 1949 Denver, Colo., and the cars on the front are classic styles of the times. The postmark over the stamp reads "Wear Your Red Feather Proudly," referring to what was then Community Chest and is today The United Way. Red feathers were given to all who donated, the President of General Electric being the first. The card is in fair condition only because of the very light bleed through to the front from the postmark, otherwise I would rate the card as very good.

Thanks for stopping.
