The Albertype process was unique and was first used in the last decade of the 19th century until 1952. The black and white scene is printed from a real photograph but does not exhibit the dots of a print. They are also known to yellow slightly with time as this card has done. The condition is rated as near mint. Although I cannot say definitely, I believe this card dates to the 1920's or 1930's. It was published by University Book Stores, University of Minnesota and printed by "The Finest American Made View Post Cards - The Albertype Co., Brooklyn, N.Y.
