"Fear, however, we'll not be in Normandy for the apple blossoms," an excerpt from the message on this French post card wishing the recipient a Joyeuses Paques or Happy Easter. It is addressed to Mrs. J. Lopez on Oakenwald in Chicago but was not posted. Condition is excellent. No holes, tears, creases, or stains and edge/corner wear is all but non existent, the lower right corner from the front is very slightly blunted. A wonderful portrayal of 5 angelic little girls preparing Easter eggs with a bow and moving them on a cart. The pastels contribute to the heavenly affect and the artists name is seen in the lower right, although I am not able to make it out even under 12X magnification.
Thank you for your time.
