Frankoma Political Mug 1989 Bush Quayle in Peach
Peach was the color of choice for the 1989 Frankoma Pottery Political Mugs. This one is the GOP Bush/Quayle elephant and it's in mint condition. It has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Frankoma began making the political mugs in 1968 and up until 1974 only the GOP elephant mugs were produced. Only beginning in 1975 were both major parties represented. These are 5 ounce mugs and were the design of one John Frank, originally for the National Republican Women's Club. The mugs for inaugural years are the ones with the President and Vice-President Elect names on them.
