CYKO cards date from 1904 on into the 1920's. This one is at least 1907 or later, having the divided back. Although I can't name the young man in the mission style rocking chair, I can identify the portrait of Ulysses S. Grant on the wall above the shelf clock. The chair is almost certainly an original Stickley piece and the young man is dressed in his best finery for this portrait. The condition of the card is excellent. You see that the top border of the card has been trimmed with a scissors somewhere during the life of this card and that on the reverse, just to the left of the small word "correspondence" is a short somewhat curved crease and a small indentation (no hole). Neither of these issues has any affect on the appearance of the subject nor are readily visible on the front. There are other wise no holes, tears, creases, soiling, or damage of any kind such as staining or foxing. The card was retrieved from an album which had been put away for many years in a healthy environment, thus it's overall great condition.
