Honolulu Paper Company is probably one of the lesser known Honolulu post card publishers of the Territory of Hawaii. Their cards are of no less quality than those of the more famous houses and this one was printed by C.T. American Art of Chicago. It is numbered on the front 105214. The scene is that of Kapaa, Kauai, an area now famous for it's shopping and restaurants but in this scene, apparently a serene community all to itself. There is only one issue with this card and that is the white outline that you see at the bottom center of the card, just inside the border. This is the outline of a corner holder in the album this card came from, which is a large part of the reason for the great condition of the Territory of Hawaii cards we have listed. The card has been in an album, out of sight, for many years. If not for this one issue I would have to rate the card as excellent at least and probably mint. You won't find anything else wrong with this card than what I've described.
Thanks for looking today.
